TEA PARTY ACTION 08/28/2020

The Pro-America RNC, a COVID survivor speaks out, Riots in the streets, and more

This week, in the midst of violent riots across many major Democrat-run cities, President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence accepted the Republican nomination for President and Vice President of the United States, at the Republican National Convention.

The pro-America law and order ticket spent the week taking aim at the rhetoric and agenda pushed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Convention. From the appeasement of violent rioters to the false premise that America is a “depraved” nation, to calls to defund the police; President Trump, Vice President Pence, and various other speakers took aim at the modern, radical Democratic Party platform.

With ease, Vice President Pence dismantled Joe Biden’s doomsday rhetoric. First and foremost, he condemned and called for an end to the violence in many major Democrat-run cities from Portland to Minneapolis. He then took on Joe Biden’s assertion that, in terms of our continued coronavirus recovery, “no miracle is coming.” Vice President Pence rebuked Joe Biden’s lack of faith in our great nation saying that, “what Joe Biden doesn't understand is that America is a nation of miracles.”

President Trump ended the fourth night by accepting the Republican Nomination for President of the United States. The President made his administration’s stance on our nation clear: “Where Joe Biden sees American darkness, we see American greatness.” Further noting that “America is not a land cloaked in darkness, America is the torch that lights the entire world.” He then went on to attack the Democrats’ appeasement of violent riots and looting saying, “How can the Democrat Party ask to lead our country, when it spends so much time tearing down our country?” He then offered a brilliant juxtaposition of his agenda versus Joe Biden’s agenda, saying that Joe Biden’s agenda is made in China, but his agenda is made in the USA.

President Trump and Vice President Pence were not the only great speakers to grace the Republican National Convention stage. From Ann Dorn, wife of fallen-Police Captain David Dorn, to Nick Sandmann, to Herschel Walker, and many more — speakers from across our great nation rallied to show their support for President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. From speeches attacking Biden’s agenda to speeches highlighting the devastation caused by incompetent Democrat “leadership,” and stories of hope and love for America, they gave incredibly moving speeches that won’t soon be forgotten.

Now that both President Trump and Joe Biden have accepted their respective nominations for President of the United States, what comes next?

Debates... that is, if Joe Biden doesn’t back out at the last minute.

Riots and looting continued to plague Democrat-run cities across our nation this week. The hardest-hit city, other than Portland, Oregon, was Kenosha, Wisconsin.

The riots followed the shooting of a young man, armed with a knife, by local police, following a 911 call from his girlfriend, and his refusal to comply with officers that arrived on the scene. The young man, identified as Jacob Blake, was reportedly paralyzed as a result of the shooting.

After videos and details of the incident were made public, the city was thrown into unrest by violent riots and the incineration of many major buildings. Despite the fact that no determination on the justification of the shooting has been made, rioters immediately denounced the shooting as unjustified and began to burn down the city.

This kind of violence and chaos has spread to Democrat-run cities across the nation for over three months now.

At first, Joe Biden fanned the flames of the riots, before offering an objectively weak condemnation of violence. President Trump, on the other hand, immediately condemned the violent riots and offered immediate federal support, if cities would just make the official request necessary. Not shockingly though, instead of working with the President, local Democrat leaders were content with watching their cities burn.

In the midst of political conventions and civil unrest, negotiations on what is believed to be the final coronavirus stimulus package are still happening.

And when Nancy Pelosi isn’t refusing to condemn violent riots, she has been making entirely unreasonable demands regarding the next stimulus package.

“Speaker Pelosi thinks she’s standing on firm ground with her oh-so-reasonable ‘let’s split the difference’ strategy. Sure, of course, it seems perfectly reasonable to meet in the middle — except that it’s not, because the high end the Democrats set is ridiculous to begin with. Under her thinking, if the House Democrats had passed a bill spending $10 trillion, and the Senate Republicans had set a floor of $1 trillion, ‘meeting in the middle’ would have set the spending level at $5.5 trillion. That’s just absurd.

At some point, she’s got to recognize this is real money we’re talking about. It doesn’t grow on trees, and our children are going to have to repay this debt — or suffer the consequences.”
