Appeals Court Orders Flynn Judge to Explain Actions Regarding Case’s Dismissal Yesterday, we reported that former national security advisor Michael Flynn’s legal team, led by Sidney Powell, asked the DC appeals court to intervene in forcing judge Emmet Sullivan to honor the DOJ’s dropping the case. The court today accepted the request, having Sullivan removed and ordering him to explain his actions in stonewalling the DOJ’s request.
