Commentary - A little Story
“Why didn’t someone do something?” There are, and there have been, life changing events when such a question was asked…or shouted in anguish. When good people do nothing, when moral people excuse immorality, when upstanding citizens are simply too pre-occupied with self-indulgence of any sorts which keeps them from standing in the gap and defending against the forces of darkness that intend to remove them and their enjoyable way of life; well…a void becomes clear. When those at the moral bottom of society become the loudest voices of influence than what? Such forces of darkness have appeared on the global scale so much so they could not simply be explained away or covered up, very much to the chagrin of those promoting such diabolical darkness.
In modern day, the Nazi movement is an example. Communism is another. The so-named Radical Islamic Movement is another. Polished and rebranded socialist Democrats are still another form of the darkness persistently working to enslave mankind, and extinguish the Judeo-Christian principles in which America was founded. I believe there are chapters in life that become almost unbearable; horrid and filled with great human calamity and cost. Chapters or periods in time from which a nation, or community of nations, pay a terrible cost for the depravity and disregard for all that was good to be replaced with putrid propositions of enslavement and utter disregard for life; with the exceptions to those at the top dictating.
Saving a nation in such a condition cannot be painless or comfortable. America was, and still, is in need of saving. America was, and still is, suffocating in a mire of God-hating ideologies poured-out into every segment of our society, including the church! America was a God-ordained nation similar to Israel. America was a miracle from inception. Biblical teachings inspired and were even written in our founding documents. We became an exceptional nation, not because we were or are a perfect nation, but because we were founded on Judeo-Christian principles written in the Bible. A covenant was made by our first President, a covenant to God on behalf of all Americans, that this Nation, so conceived, would honor God and not forget He is the true reason for our existence. Our national buildings say this, our money says this, even certain proclamations still claim this fact. But the forces of darkness will not subside. A growing number of Americans have subsided, and have become quiet including many in churches across the Land. “Why doesn’t someone do something” is the present-day cry?
Well…someone is doing something, but he needs help and lots of it from across the nation. Donald Trump was given to America by God much like Cyrus was given to ancient Israel. Present-day America was torn apart and being battered into submission, molded into a weak aimless form of her former self. In almost every way America was reshaped into a land vastly different, vastly hostile from the exceptional nation given to us as a gift by God, and by our Founders. The cries of a “remnant” (small, remaining, a trace) were heard from Heaven, and Attiq Yomin (Ancient of Days – God is the ultimate authority who will one day judge ALL nations; Daniel 7:9, 13) heard the cries and responded by given a modern-day Cyrus in the man Donald Trump. Not perfect. Not anointed as some savior, but appointed for this time and this nation. Is the loss of America a concern to you? Is the constant drum beat and chants of converting our Nation into a form of socialism like Cuba, like Venezuela, and every socialist/communist country out there enough for you to stand up and push back? Or will we lose this exceptional nation only to have somebody say one day, “Why didn’t someone do something?”
Take another moment and watch the attached message given by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee. Governor Huckabee’s short presentation aired on his TV program might stir your heart. I pray it stirs your heart – and more! In the three years Donald Trump has been president, our country has been saved from going over the cliff, but we are far from being off the path to collapse. The forces of calamity and nightmare are regrouping for another swing at America, and then another until Trump is removed or finally leaves office. What will you do during all of this? Do not simply leave this fight up to elected officials, you need to be responding to the threats; better yet, you need to become part of the Remnant called by God.
