WEEKLY UPDATE While we are thankful we missed the brunt of Hurricane Dorian’s impact, we certainly feel for the people of the Bahamas as they face a long, hard recovery from untold devastation, as well as those in the Carolinas and up the east coast. We will continue to keep them in our prayers, as we did last week at the monthly men’s steak dinner at the Williston Church of God last week.  Every time I attend this event, I always walk away inspired and encouraged. I’m thankful to be part of a community made up of such dedicated and caring folks! And I’m thankful for the opportunity our family had last week to enjoy being out in our community last week. It was our first outing as a family of six, and it went great! Even though we escaped Dorian, hurricane season is not over. If you and your family are not prepared, please do so now. And please join me in looking for ways to help recovery efforts for those in the areas impacted by Dorian. Those of us in Florida know all too well what they’re facing.
