Dear Friends: It’s been 90 days since I was sworn in as your U.S. Senator and it’s been quite a journey so far. I campaigned on a plan to Make Washington Work for Floridians, and that means retiring the dysfunctional ways of D.C. and fighting for priorities that matter most to Florida families, which is why I've worked to:  Reform Washington to make it work for families by ending taxpayer-funded Congressional pensions, sponsoring “No Budget, No Pay” legislation and fighting for term limits and a permanent lobbying banfor members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Lower the cost of prescription drugs with the Transparent Drug Pricing Act. Fight for critical disaster relief funding for Florida and Puerto Rico following the devastation of Hurricanes Michael and Maria. Promote freedom and democracy in Latin America. Fight for priorities that support Florida’s continued success with my Fighting for Florida budget agenda, including: Continuing to grow the economy and invest in Florida’s Ports.
