You hardly ever hear a report of a gun used for self defense. The media has other priorities and using a gun to defend your life isn't part of their agenda. Maybe that's why the left thinks it can get away with its efforts to abolish the 2nd Amendment.
The Democrats say they only want "common sense" gun control after clearly demonstrating they have no common sense whatsoever. They want you wait for the cops to show up after you have been attacked, robbed, or violated. It takes no sense of any kind to know that's too late.
The bad guys are not going to wait a half hour or so for help to arrive to save you. They'll be long gone and you or your family may be long dead.
Gun control is hitting what you aim at. That's a bit of common sense the left will never understand.

2nd Amendment: Resident Shoots All Four Home Invaders
From Red State: January 8, 2019, by Alex Parker
Earlier Tuesday, I wrote about a UFC girl who beat the everlovin’ tar out of a man who tried to rob her. If you missed that great story, please see it here.
Now on to Part 2 of my trilogy of people defending themselves against crime.
In Yuma, Arizona on January 3rd, four intruders attempted a home invasion. They smashed a window and came in through the back door.
According to an eyewitness, the homeowner — who was wakened by the commotion — warned the aspiring and unwelcome visitors by flickering his inside lights on and off.
They came on in anyway.
So he shot ’em.
ALL of ’em.
As per Alfonso Zavala, of the County Sheriffs Office:
"The homeowner was woken up by some noise outside shortly after the subject made entry into the home, the occupant fired multiple rounds striking all four subjects.”
Local KYMA reported:
Thirty-six-year-old Edith Guerrero, of Somerton, was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound and later flown to a Phoenix-area hospital.
Jaden James, 18, of Mesa, Ariz., was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with a gunshot wound.
Twenty-seven-year-old Leonardo Gonzalez, of Yuma, was self-transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center and was later flown to a Phoenix-area hospital.
28-year-old Jessica Aynes — also of Yuma — was pronounced dead at Yuma Regional Medical Center.
Many on the Left have raged against the 2nd Amendment over the last two years, via network editorials, political grandstanding, and endless — eeeeeendless — memes.
But sometimes, a firearm is, as they say, the best defense.
A resident in Yuma, Arizona used it, to substantial effect. The kind that leaves intruders leaking.
