Last week, the House of Representatives passed Tax Reform 2.0!
I want to thank the CCAGW members and supporters who generated more than 5,000 e-mails supporting this tax package to House members. Your involvement was critical to our success!
Tax Reform 2.0 cements our country’s economic gains by allowing Americans to continue to keep more of their hard-earned income and ensuring that our nation remains one of the most competitive places to do business in the world.
This package of three tax relief bills makes permanent the Trump tax cuts for individuals and small businesses, as well as the higher standard deduction and child tax credit.
Tax Reform 2.0 also makes additional improvements to our tax code that will help families save and small businesses invest and grow.
The Senate is expected to take up portions of the Tax Reform 2.0 package after November’s elections, so I’ll be calling on you again soon to help get Tax Reform 2.0 across the finish line in the Senate. Please look for alerts in your inbox in the coming weeks.
