They lined-up at the San Diego Port of Entry, hundreds cheering and waving the Honduras Flag, while others taunted U.S. immigration laws by climbing the iron fence to sit on top.....BUT
What will be the next move if NONE are approved in coming days? Previous reports discussed the hwy 2 option that parallels the southwest border which extends from Tijuana to Ciudad Juarez (El Paso).
If San Diego continues to deny asylum, the caravan of refugees will likely join others that "jumped ship" along the way to enter illegally through Arizona....the easiest entry point along the border.
One problem though.....
None of the refugees have the crossing fee for the Drug Cartel that control the Mexican side of the border. The only option is to carry a backpack of drugs as payment, or allow the cartel to hold them hostage in safe houses in Phoenix and Tucson until family members pay their ransom / passage fee.
If not paid in a reasonable time frame, the women will become slaves of the MS-13 prostitution networks in any one of the major cities where MS-13 operates inside the United States.
The men (and women) will be sent to U.S. Mexican businesses where they will work to pay-off the crossing fee.
Those that get caught by Border Patrol will be sent to FEMA Camps to await their hearings. The option of GPS monitors is on the table as an alternative to incarceration.
Jeff Schwilk has been very active in San Diego, organizing and planning counter-protests against the invasion, and his appearance on ABC Sunday was seen around the world. He pointed-out the fact that Mexico was their first and last point for claiming asylum. His report below....

President Trump’s DHS threw a huge bucket of ICE water on the illegal alien convoy of fake asylum seekers and their big publicity stunt yesterday! They had planned to push about 300 illegal aliens from their “caravan” into San Diego yesterday afternoon by requesting fake asylum. They got none!
All of these Central American aliens already have “asylum” in Mexico and are required by law to stay there and formally request it in Mexico. But these illegal aliens believe they are above the law and entitled to invade the United States illegally, obviously to steal our benefits and higher paying jobs. Let’s hope President Trump and the DOJ follow through on their promise to prosecute all fraudulent asylum seekers and end this giant border scam that has been going on for at least 10 years. So far this year, over 17,000 illegal aliens, from all over the world, have come to our southern border and requested asylum, almost all of them fraudulently! But most of those claiming asylum are released into the U.S. after their initial processing and over 90% of them never show up for their asylum hearings 2-3 years later, because they know their fake claims will be rejected and they will be ordered deported. Unacceptable!
Congress must act THIS WEEK to close the asylum loopholes that allow this insanity to continue at our southern border 24/7 365 days a year.

…While some 200 members of the Pueblo Sin Fronteras (People for No Borders) Caravan went over final details of their asylum petitions in Tijuana,U.S authorities announced Sunday afternoon that they had “reached capacity” at the San Ysidro Port of Entry for processing persons “without appropriate entry documentation” — a status that would apply to all caravan members.
Kevin McAleenan, Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection, said in a statement that “depending upon port circumstances at the time of arrival, those individuals may need to wait in Mexico as CBP officers work to process those already within our facilities.”
The first group of 50 Caravan members walked into the port’s PedWest entrance at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, waving farewell, as activists and fellow caravan members cheered them on. Most were women and children.
But several hours later, members of the group had yet to enter the U.S. facility for processing, according to a source who requested anonymity. As darkness fell, caravan leaders made no announcements as to their fate.
As uncertainty grew over what would happen to the Caravan’s asylum petitioners, the mood on Sunday evening contrasted sharply with a boisterous gathering earlier the day as caravan members and supporters gathered by the Pacific Ocean on both sides of the international border fence.
The morning crowd grew to several hundred, with participants waving Honduran flags, calling out chants, carrying bouquets of yellow flowers, with some of the younger members climbing to the top of the tall metal bollards. “Stop Donald Trump and his politics of fear,” went one chant.
SDSB was also quoted in an article in the SDUT yesterday:
"San Diegans for Secure Borders took to their Facebook page and posted a video of the rally taken by a Fox News camera. The post called the caravan and their supporters in Mexico “hostile foreign invaders from the south” who “want our country” and urged the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to “prosecute all foreign criminals claiming false asylum.”
“The whole world is watching to see if we still have a country left after this radical left wing publicity stunt and border surge,” the message said."
