But that's not what is happening. Sources are telling us that the radical left is gearing up for an imminent, full-frontal assault on the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution!
It was no accident or a coincidence that a retired Supreme Court Justice just penned an editorial calling for the total eradication of the 2nd Amendment.
And moreover, when we talk to our contacts on the Hill, what we are hearing is SHOCKING! Republican legislators aren't simply diving behind their desk in FEAR... they're actually discussing amongst themselves MORE legislative efforts that can be brought to the table to curtain your 2nd Amendment rights.
Make no mistake, after the horrifying tragedy in Florida, leftists in Congress resurrected and pushed a number of massive gun-control measures, but your faxes and calls stopped that freight train!

"I Can Only Describe This Radical Scheme As The Effective END Of The Second Amendment In America. The Gun-Grabbers Are Going For Broke... They're Targeting EVERYTHING." -Senator Rand Paul
Senator Paul actually made this quote in reference to Senator Dianne Feinstein's so-called "assault weapons ban" legislation back in 2013, but Feinstein's latest attempt at eviscerating the 2nd Amendment (S. 2095) is actually FAR WORSE than the bill she introduced years ago.
For instance, back then, Feinstein proposed banning 157 specifically named and commonly used firearms. Today that list has grown to 205.
But that's not all, back then, Gun Owners of American said the Feinstein bill would ban 80 percent of all handguns and 50 percent of all long riflesand Alan Korwin, the owner of Bloomfield Press, the largest publisher and distributor of gun-law books in the United States, said: "If the semi-auto firearm has anything to grip it by... it is BANNED."
Even the liberal Washington Post admitted that skullduggery is afoot: "Feinstein's bill would ban 205 specific" weapons "by name, and it more broadly bans firearms containing a detachable magazine and one or more" characteristics"including 'a pistol grip, a forward grip, a barrel shroud, a threaded barrel or a folding or telescoping stock.'"
But that's not all, at this very moment, lawmakers in Washington are also pushing legislation that would, raise the legal age to own a firearm, limit the capacity of magazines and even eradicate the ability of a firearm owner to transfer ownership of that firearm to a family member.
We must not take these overt threats to the Constitution lightly folks. In the aftermath of these subversive rallies, these threats to the 2nd Amendment are once again gaining traction, and even Republicans are either cowering behind their desks or supporting some of these threats to the 2nd Amendment.
Make no mistake. The 2nd Amendment is under assault on multiple fronts at this very moment, but this is a winnable fight. It only takes 41 Senators to stop any and all gun-control measures from reaching the floor of the Senate. We need to secure those votes... and the only way that is going to happen is if legislators in the United States Senate hear from you right here and right now.

Let's be blunt. Politicians and liberals in the media are trying to sell you a bill of goods that the purpose of these legislative efforts to eviscerate the 2nd Amendment is to protect our children.
It's hogwash!
These tragedy-pimps in Washington don't give a rat's tushy about the children. As Rahm Emanuel once said, you should never let a good tragedy go to waste, and the gun-grabbers in Washington have already spent millions in recent days and have exploited the Florida tragedy to the hilt.
All this talk about saving children is nothing more than a disgusting and disingenuous attempt to ban law-abiding citizens from possessing firearms and a sickening and tyrannical attack on the Constitution.
We know that to be true because Feinstein's legislative effort is, in fact, a major gun-grab and moreover, Feinstein has made her motives clear, in her own words, in the past.
As she said some years ago, "the purpose is to dry up the supply of weapons over time."
Feinstein also said: "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them - Mr. and Mrs. America turn 'em all in – I would have done it."
She's not fooling anyone.
Make no mistake, our God-given constitutional rights are under direct attack, but we can make you one promise... if enough of us demand that our elected officials filibuster these assaults on the Constitution, here and now, all of these unconstitutional pipe-dream will go down in flames.

She Shook With Glee.
Yes, the Los Angeles Times actually reported that Feinstein "shook with glee."At the very least, as is clear in the photo to the right, she grinned from ear to ear like the Cheshire Cat. You've already heard the story, but let's try to offer some reasonable analysis on what is going on.
Here's how Chron.com reported the incident:
"After Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) advocated for expanded background checks to curb domestic violence, Trump said her proposal should be added to a bipartisan gun reform bill sponsored by Sen. Pat Toomey (R-Penn.) and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.)."
"Then he suggested that Feinstein 'could add what you have also ... into the bill.'
"Feinstein seemed to levitate a few inches from her seat as Trump's comment registered. She then looked at Manchin, her face aglow, and quipped, 'Joe, are you ready?'"
Let's be fair here. We don't really know whether or not President Trump was making a direct reference to Feinstein's S. 2095 gun-grab, but what is key here is that Feinstein took his comment as an endorsement of her attempt to eviscerate the 2nd Amendment and that's not, as Martha Stewart would say, "a good thing."
Then again, it is entirely possible that President Trump is making a show of extending his hand to the opposition so that he appears to be reasonable when they bite the hand he extended to them.
It would appear, after all, that he employed a similar strategy with DACA.
And that is precisely why we must to make our demands painfully clear to legislators in Washington: We don't want any "compromise legislation" ... we don't want any "legislative fixes"... and we don't want any "reasonable debate" on any so-called "common-sense gun legislation."
We want these legislative assaults on our God-given Second Amendment rights KILLED... a stake driven through their hearts... because the Constitution IS NOT open for debate.

Our Founding Fathers Understood Tyranny. It's Time For Elected Officials In Washington To Understand What Constitutes Tyranny.
Before we go any further, let's make one thing clear.
These legislative assault against the 2nd Amendment are nothing less than an attempt to exploit a tragedy and thereby open the door to tyranny on the people of the United States.
Politicians, pundits and self-proclaimed experts can continue to exploit tragedies all they want... we won't fall for it, because our Founding Fathers understood that the 2nd Amendment is the safeguard against tyranny.
Tyranny has never taken hold in the United States precisely because the 2nd Amendment was ratified into the Bill of Rights.
