States Win Another Major Case Against Obamacare
In a decision that has gotten almost no media attention, six states led by Texas have won another round against the Obama administration implementation of Obamacare.
Judge Reed O’Connor, a federal judge in Texas, threw out the Obama administration’s imposition of a federal fee or tax on states as a condition of continuing to receive Medicaid funds. O’Conner ruled March 5 that the fee violates the non-delegation doctrine of the Constitution and the requirements of the Administrative Procedure Act.

Congressional leaders and the White House are pressing to strike an accord on a $1.3 trillion catchall spending bill, though disputes remain over immigration, abortion and a massive rail project that pits President Donald Trump against his most powerful Democratic adversary.

The White House says President Donald Trump isn’t thinking about or talking about firing special counsel Robert Mueller.
That’s the late word from White House lawyer Ty Cobb, who released a statement late Sunday after a series of Trump tweets led members of Congress and others to speculate that the president may be considering orchestrating Mueller’s firing.

McCabe Suggests He Was Fired to Undermine Russia Probe
Andrew McCabe, the former No. 2 FBI official fired at the weekend by the attorney general, called his dismissal an attempt to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, according to a report by The New York Times.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired McCabe Friday night over allegations he authorized the disclosure of sensitive information to a reporter.
