Thus, when Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin shattered his promise to Mr. Pence -- that he'd support the President's economy-booming tax cut with his vote -- the Vice President took offense when Manchin 'back-stabbed' him on the vote.
Manchin's double-talk is nothing new.
Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin is infamous for talking out of both sides of his mouth.
Back home in West Virginia, Manchin labels himself 'Mr. Conservative'.
But in Washington, Joe Manchin votes with Chuck Schumer and the Democrats.
In fact, in the Obama years, Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin voted repeatedly to support every major policy priority of the Obama Administration - from FULLY funding Obamacare to betraying ourSecond Amendment gun rights.
Even when Obama declared his 'War on Coal' -- devastating the livelihoods of thousands of his fellow West Virginians back home -- Joe Manchin didn't lift a finger to help in Washington.
