Dear Conservatives,
There’s a dangerous development on Capitol Hill.
In the post-Government shutdown chaos, the Washington politicians are sneaking a dangerous national ID database into law that could be used as a national owner registry.
And it could be rammed through both houses of Congress at light-speed if we don’t stop it.
The database I’m talking about is known as E-verify, but is dubbed “Dangerous ID” by many Capitol Hill insiders due to the huge breach of privacy it would cause.
It would create a massive national database which contains personal information of all Americans, including gun owners.
While the E-verify/Dangerous ID database is being paraded around as a way to address illegal immigration, the gun control crowd sees it very differently.
They know it is a tool ripe for abuse, and the means they’ve been looking for to go after the rights law-abiding gun owners.
That’s why NAGR is fighting back NOW, and why I’m asking for your support.
The first thing I’m hoping you can do is click here and sign your petition exposing E-verify for the Dangerous ID Database that it is.
Then, when you’re done, I hope you also consider making a generous contribution to help us fight back.
I will explain below just how important this fight is, and once I do, I hope you consider digging deep, perhaps even giving $100 or more.
But regardless of what you give, or even if you give at all, your support is greatly appreciated.
E-Verify is an absolute nightmare to gun owners, or anyone who values their privacy.
The last thing we need is another government database of American citizens, but this Dangerous ID database presents a much larger danger.
Just months ago, Chicago Democrat Rep. Luis Gutierrez worked to pass an amendment to link the E-verify system with the Brady-NICS Gun Registration System.
Why in the world would someone like Rep. Gutierrez push for a gun control amendment on E-verify?
That’s because he knows that E-verify isn’t about immigration Lee, it’s about government power, it is about giving the government the means to track every single American citizen, especially gun owners.
Nothing is off the table when it comes to Dangerous ID.
Health records, book purchases, online activity, religious views, contribution history to political candidates, and yes, gun purchases, including serial numbers.
And that’s why I’m prepared to fight this tooth and nail.
Will you join me?
If you agree with me that privacy is important, click here and sign your petition to STOP the government’s Dangerous ID Database.
If passed, Dangerous ID would be an absolute disaster for gun owners.
And if we don’t fight back now, its passage could come any day now.
So after you sign please also consider making a generous contribution to help NAGR fight back.
We are planning on running a massive mobilization program designed to bring in as many new Second Amendment supporters as possible to defeat this.
But running the type of program we will need to defeat this scheme takes massive resources, resources that I frankly don’t have right now.
Between our fight with the ATF over their attempted Firearm Accessory Ban, and state level gun control fights across the country, money is tight.
So I must count on Second Amendment supporters like you chipping in if we are to run our full program.
Some folks have been very generous, donating $100 or more.
I know not everyone can afford a contribution like that, but perhaps you can give $25 or $50?
Even if that isn’t possible, a donation of just $5 coming from thousands of patriots will make a huge difference.
So please don’t delay, click here to sign your petition and make a generous contribution!
With your help, I’m confident we can defeat this scheme.
Thanks, Lee!
For Freedom,
Dudley Brown

National Association for Gun Rights
P.S. Capitol Hill experts are warning us that lawmakers are considering a massive DANGEROUS ID database scheme -- under the guise of “reforming” immigration through the E-Verify program.
This could easily be transformed into a backdoor gun registry!
That’s why it’s vital you take action right now.
So please click here and sign your petition to Expose E-Verify for the Dangerous ID database that it is!
And once you sign please consider chipping in $100, $50, $25, or just $5.
