All of Washington seems to be in cardiac arrest over news reports late last week that Donald Trump is planning a budget featuring $10 trillion in cuts over the next decade. We can only hope and pray that the reports are accurate.
This is an enterprise that has been borrowing $1 trillion a year for the past decade and is expected to continue to do so for years and decades to come. The national indebtedness will soon exceed $20 trillion, and everyone in Washington is in denial about this metastasizing cancer cell when they should be ordering radiation therapy before it kills off the economy. You see, the young handsome man in this photo is my son, Lt. Clint Lorance of the U.S. Army.
Like any mother, I was so scared that Clint would be hurt – or even killed – after he was deployed to Afghanistan.
Then on July 2, 2012, it almost happened.
Clint was sent to a "hot zone" on a dangerous mission to replace a lieutenant who had been injured when the Taliban attacked his platoon just days earlier.

Donald Trump signed an Executive Order beginning the process of building The Wall and de-funding sanctuary cities.
A candidate keeping his campaign
promises. What a novel
idea.
His political opponents – and by that I mean primarily CNN –
love to try to corner conservatives who support enforcement of the nation’s
immigration laws by claiming enforcement will break up families. And conservatives usually fall for it and
stammer all over themselves trying to respond to this purely emotional, not
legal argument.
