AMERICA NEEDS C.P.R.

America needs C.P.R.   [Christian Prayer Revival]by Jackie Juntti - Nov 8, 2016

As I was waking up this morning I had this vision of America laying on the ground, near death, unable to breath.  Then the words came across my mind - America needs C.P.R. - Christian Prayer Revival!!!!! It is vital to save the life of this nation.

Then I pictured this battlefield - filled with dead, badly wounded bodies, total devastation everywhere I looked, smoke  rising from the ground.  Every so often I would see someone going from one body to another, kneeling over and checking on that person to see if they could be SAVED.  Then I would see someone giving C.P.R. - a Christian praying over someone else - and every so often I would see that wounded body slowly get up and begin to help others in the same manner.  REVIVAL!!!!!!!!

We are in this Spiritual War that I often talk about - it is a WAR for our souls - the enemy wants to destroy all who put their TRUST and FAITH in God, in Jesus Christ.

This *election* has been a great battlefield for our souls.  It isn't our VOTES the enemy wants - it is our SOULS.

I often use the phrase, "It isn't who you are - It is WHOSE you are".  Humans ask if you are a Democrat or a Republican when you vote - it would be far better to ask if one is a Pagan or a Christian.  Take a good look at the types that Clinton surrounds herself with in her efforts to increase the crowds when she holds a rally.  If those *entertainers* weren't there her *crowds* would be minuscule.  I don't understand the mentality that finds it *entertaining* to listen to or watch someone get on a stage and scream out swear words or other dirty words - or to stick their tongue out (like Miley Cyrus who appears to be like a dog in heat who licks themselves)  or the Twerking that some seem to think makes them attractive.  To me I see someone trying to release bowel gas and perhaps other material that piles up in our bowels.  Nothing *attractive* in that activity  to me,  when you look at it now try to erase the picture I just painted for you.

There is a lot of Blood being spilled in America -  some results in DEATH - physically and spiritually.  We must remember that Christ shed His blood for us - He became THE SACRIFICE to provide a way to be saved from Satan's Hell.  Some blood stains us but there is one Blood that SAVES us.   I am reminded of an old hymn we used to sing in church:

Are You Washed in the Blood
1 Have you been to Jesus for the cleansing power?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Are you fully trusting in His grace this hour?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

Chorus:
Are you washed in the blood,
In the soul cleansing blood of the Lamb?
Are your garments spotless?
Are they white as snow?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?

2 Are you walking daily by the Savior's side?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Do you rest each moment in the Crucified?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?[Chorus]

3 When the Bridegroom cometh will your robes be white?
Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?
Will your soul be ready for the mansions bright,

There's a fountain flowing for the soul unclean,

Do not think you are alone in this spiritual battle taking place in America.  Read and meditate on these verses in Scripture.
Acts 26:18   To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.2 Kings 6:17  And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.2 Corinthians 4:6  For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.Ephesians 5:8   for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light
Each and every day I lift all of you in prayer - I lift this nation in prayer - but we need many more to do the same thing.  We need C.P.R. in and for America.
I received this daily devotion from the Adrian Rogers organization yesterday and it seems right to share this with you.

Praying Over Your Vote

Therefore, to Him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin. - James 4:17
You're going to vote before long. I trust God every one of you will vote.  Dr. Francis Schaeffer, brilliant mind, one of the foremost Christian thinkers of our time, has given 5 principles to keep in mind when you vote. These principles don't deal with personalities or parties. They are principles.

1. The dignity of human life.
2. The importance of the traditional family.
3. Religious freedom of speech in schools, both public and private.
4. Human rights and the need for justice in our world.
5. The compassionate use of accumulated wealth.

These five principles ought to be in the heart and mind of every child of God. Pray over these and based on God's Word make your determination. God will give you wisdom in this matter.

Pray it from your heart, "God, bless America, and God, give us space to repent. And may the one of Your choosing be elected President to lead us." Remember, to him that knoweth to do good and doeth it not, to him it is sin."
