Josh Mandel fought in Iraq as a Marine, came back to be elected Ohio State Treasurer and is now running for Senate. Democrats, special interests and GOP moderates are attacking him. Help Mandel fight back!
Friends,
Josh Mandel proved his love of and commitment to America and our way of life. He served the nation after 9/11, fighting in Iraq. Now he is working for fiscal discipline while Treasurer of Ohio.
Lately he is facing attacks from the incumbent Democrat Senator Sherrod Brown.
But that's not all. His GOP opponent in the primary is a wealthy donor to Governor John Kasich and now the anti-Trump Gov Kasich is helping his friend against Mandel.
The truth is while Mandel was defending freedom as a Marine in Iraq, his primary opponent investment banker Mike Gibbons was making his fortune as Americans lost their homes in the financial crisis.
Gibbons is not a conservative by any means, donating to the son of former President Jimmy Carter when he ran for Senate years ago.
Governor Kasich is using his friends and resources to pay back his donor friend and attack Mandel. Gibbons has hired consultants and staffers that worked for Kasich in the past. Now they are attacking a Marine as a "career politician."
What John Kasich and Mike Gibbons fail to realize is by attacking Mandel they are really helping the far left.
Current Senator Sherrod Brown votes to keep sanctuary cities. He votes against reforming the VA. He votes to raise taxes, even on the working class.
In fact he votes with radical Elizabeth Warren 97% of the time. Let that sink in.
But Kasich and Sherrod Brown have something in common. They both don't want a principled conservative who supports President Trump to win this Senate seat.
As State Treasurer Mandel has worked to defund sanctuary cities, stop the expansion of Obamacare in his state, lower taxes and stop the Obama-era regulations. He clearly is the conservative choice!
But Mandel didn't expect the Republican establishment to use the same dirty tricks against him as the Democrats. That's why he needs grassroots support to fight back!
