Nevada Democrats are in full panic mode over the possibility that Rep. Dina Titus (D-Nev.) will rain on their parade and spoil their anointment of still-wet-behind-the-ears freshman cipher Rep. Jacky Rosen (D-Nev.) as their unaccomplished standard bearer in next year’s U.S. Senate race against incumbent Republican Dean Heller, perceived as the most vulnerable GOP senator in the country.
From yesterday’s Morning Score…
"Democratic Rep. Dina Titus has defied Harry Reid before, and Democrats in Washington and Nevada spent Thursday trying to make sure it doesn't happen again.“Within hours of Rep. Jacky Rosen launching her run for Senate, the biggest forces in Nevada and D.C. Democratic politics lined up behind her, hoping to avoid a contested primary before their opportunity next fall to face Republican Sen. Dean Heller - the only Senate Republican up for reelection in a state President Donald Trump lost last year.“EMILY's List President Stephanie Schriock said in a statement (that her group) has worked with Titus in the past, but it joined Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, Rep. Ruben Kihuen and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, who endorsed Rosen in quick succession on Tuesday. ..."It's a clear effort to discourage Titus, after she told Nevada Newsmakers that she still hadn't ruled out a bid against Heller.”
Titus, a party loyalist and old political warhorse, is getting absolutely no respect whatsoever from party leaders and anointers for her years of service. She’s the Rodney Dangerfield of the Nevada Democrat Party.
How bad is the disrespect? An article on Friday revealed that Cortez-Masto didn’t even bother to talk to Titus before throwing her support behind Rosen. Ouch, baby!
Dina Titus: Always a bridesmaid; never a bride.
Cheers.

P.S. In yesterday’s Muth’s Truths, I pointed out how President Trump and his followers were following Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” in heaping ginormous amounts of ridicule on CNN and other fake news purveyors.
Which reminded me of the upcoming big debate at FreedomFest on July 20: "Saul Alinsky, Radical Progressive or FreedomFighter?" featuring Dinesh D'Souza going up against David Alinsky, Saul's son who will be defending his father. It’s gonna be YUGE.

“Hiring surged in June in a surprising show of U.S. economic vitality eight years into the recovery from the Great Recession. . . . Unemployment ticked up to 4.4 percent from 4.3 percent, but mostly for a good reason: More Americans started looking for work, a sign of confidence in the economy.” – Associated Press,7/8/17
NEVADA NEWS & VIEWS
Will Nevada Dems’ Kool-Aid Drinkers Swallow Sisolak’s Democrat Lite?
(Chuck Muth) - There’s a perception out there that Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak, now running for the Democrat Party’s nomination for Nevada governor, is a centrist.
And I guess compared to the rabid foaming-at-the-mouth anti-business lefties such as the Culinary Union and the Crazy Bernie Sanders fanatics, that’s true. However…
