The most important Muslim Brotherhood-front group in America held a press conference this week to preach to press about terrorism and "hate," subjects about which the Council on American-Islamic Affairs should be expert.
Known for its self-serving reports, CAIR claimed Muslims in America are routinely being harassed just for practicing their faith – especially by the FBI.
"These are incidents in which people in our community were visited by, approached by the FBI and asked questions that, in the assessment of our intake staff, were really not connected to any specific investigation," claimed Corey Saylor, director of CAIR's "department to monitor and combat Islamophobia."
He claimed that prior to the presidential election in 2016 FBI agents spread out across the country randomly asking Muslims if they knew of any terrorist plots.
"That's not the specific language that they used, but the question itself is in the report," he said. "We did not see any similar type of outreach to, say, (Donald) Trump supporters who were documented as making a number of threats of a violent nature."
It should be noted that this supposedly took place under the watch of President Barack Obama, the Justice Department of Loretta Lynch and FBI Director James Comey, recently fired by President Trump.
For those who don't understand that CAIR is not the "Muslim civil rights organization" it claims to be and why it is hardly a credible group when it comes to the Islamic terrorism threat, here are some facts about CAIR every American should know:
WND needs your support to defend the First Amendment right to expose the Muslim Brotherhood's infiltration of America through your contribution to the legal defense of WND's author and ground-breaking book exposing CAIR, "Muslim Mafia."
- More than a dozen leaders of CAIR have been tried or convicted of terrorism-related charges. Think about that. What would you think about an organization of any kind with that kind of record? Would you be a little suspicious? Might you say, "Something's wrong here"? How is it, with all the media appearances CAIR officials make, that no news organization ever questions them about this track record?
- CAIR was founded by the same organization from which the terrorist group Hamas was spawned. Hamas is known as the hardline, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, anti-U.S., conspiracy-minded party that controls the Gaza Strip from which the Jewish state is regularly besieged with rocket attacks on its cities.
- CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a plot to fund Hamas and designated a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates, along with groups such as ISIS and al-Qaida. According to evidence entered in the 2007 Hamas-financing case, CAIR was founded by figures associated with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, the worldwide movement that has stated its intent to transform the U.S. into an Islamic state.
- Ibrahim Hooper, CAIR's communications director, also has expressed a desire to overturn the U.S. system of government in favor of an Islamic state, saying: "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future. But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education."
- CAIR founder Omar Ahmad reportedly told a group of Muslims in Northern California in 1998 that they are in America not to assimilate, but to help assert Islam's rule over the country: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant," a local reporter paraphrased him as saying. "The Quran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth." Ahmad insists he was misquoted. However, the reporter stands by her story, and an FBI wiretap transcript quotes Ahmad agreeing with terrorist suspects gathered at the secret Philadelphia meeting to "camouflage" their true intentions.
- The FBI severed all ties with CAIR during the Obama administration because of its Hamas connections.
I could go on and on with facts like these about CAIR, but suffice it to say, when it comes to Islamic terrorism and radicalism, CAIR is very much part of the problem, not the solution.
If you want to know all the gory details, I commend to you the WND Books ground-breaking expose on CAIR, "Muslim Mafia."
And please support WND's new GoFundMe project to help defeat CAIR in the trial of the century later this fall. |
