Fellow Conservative:
The United States Senate voted to confirm Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court today on a 54 to 45 vote. Every present Republican supported the nomination along with three Democrats.
This is very good news. Justice Gorsuch applies the law fairly and believes strongly in the written Constitution.
I want to thank all of our supporters who backed Gorsuch's confirmation with your phone calls, letters, and donations.
This is a major accomplishment for the conservative movement, which was the result of a process that began last year when Donald Trump sought candidate advice from conservative leaders.
I'm also proud to report that the three Democrats who supported Gorsuch today – Joe Donnelly (D-IN), Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), and Joe Manchin (D-WV) – were all on our advocacy target list. You took action and pressured these liberals into supporting his nomination.
Thank you again for all of your efforts to help confirm this outstanding Supreme Court nominee. This is a great day for America.
