This has been a big week for U.S. Term Limits.
In the last three days, the Term Limits Convention bill has gone 3-0, scoring committee victories in the state legislatures of Arizona, Georgia and Utah.
Committees are
only the first step toward passing each state, but they're an
encouraging sign. It means your volunteering and grassroots activism are
paying off.
This has
always been a numbers game, as you know. The more your state
legislators hear from you, the more likely they are to vote for the Term
Limits Convention. If they never hear from you, they won't know how
important this reform is.
Every
single time a state takes action toward slapping term limits on
Congress, career politicians in Washington begin to sweat just a little
bit more. They know the day is coming when we the American people will
change the system forever by giving them the boot.
Bills
have been filed or are getting filed now in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona,
Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas
and Utah. More are on the way. We are working overtime to pass in as
many of these states as possible.
We couldn't do it without your support.
Thank you,
Philip Blumel
