President Donald Trump ran on a campaign platform of temporarily
stopping people from terrorist-plagued countries from entering the United
States until better screening procedures could be put into place.
Even voters who couldn’t stand Trump in the November
election supported this common-sense idea out of pure self-preservation. I mean, who wants to get blown up at a
marathon race or blown away while dancing in a nightclub or gunned down at a
Christmas party, right?
So this week Trump did what he said he was going to do and
issued an executive order restricting the entry of people from seven
terrorist-plagued countries into the U.S.
The left – particularly the ACLU and CNN – went into
hyperventilating apoplexy. And on Saturday
a liberal New York judge appointed by Barack
Obama issued a court order over-ruling Trump’s executive order.
Trump-haters cheered. “We won!” they exulted. But here’s the thing…
They now own this issue.
And the next time some radical Islamic terrorist commits some violent
atrocity on American soil, voters are going to remember that President Trump
tried to do something to prevent it and the left stopped him. Which will move Trump a few more steps
towards a 50-state re-election sweep in 2020.
Heckuva job, libs!
Cheers.

P.S. Barack Obama was a weak president. The world
knew it and took advantage. In
particular, Russian President Vladimir
Putin knew it and took advantage.
But Obama’s gone. And there’s a
new sheriff in town.
Yet Sen. Lindsey
Graham and others are whimpering because President Donald Trump wants to see if he can work with Putin and avoid a
dangerous escalation of U.S.-Russian tensions.
Just because Putin got away with murder (literally) while
Obama was in our White House doesn’t mean he’ll get the same free ride with
Trump in command.
So critics like this Trump-hating putz senator from South
Carolina (who Trump beat like a drum in last year’s GOP primary) ought to just
shut up and give the man a chance to see if a new relationship – based on
American strength rather than American weakness – can be established between
our two super-powers rather than make Obama’s bad situation even worse.

Cegavske Critics
Barking Up Wrong Tree
I want to take this opportunity to clear up some unwarranted
criticism out there about Republican Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske over media inquiries
to her office this past week on President Trump’s assertion that there might
have been millions of votes cast illegally in November’s election.
In a press release, the SoS replied…
“There is no evidence of voters illegally casting ballots at the most recent election in Nevada.”
The key words: “no” and “evidence.” You might also take note of the words “most
recent.”
And for those who erroneously are saying Cegavske made this
statement only to throw Trump under the bus, well, you’re wrong. In fact…
FAMOUS LAST WORDS
"The coverage about me in the @nytimes and the @washingtonpost has been so false and angry that the Times actually apologized to its dwindling subscribers and readers. They got me wrong right from the beginning and still have not changed course, and never will. DISHONEST." – President Donald Trump, 1/28/17
