Horses laugh ...
There are moments when all the serious and weighty decisions
of life should be set aside; albeit, for a moment or two…or three; when the pile
of “things to do” can remain on the pile just a bit longer. Sometimes even
in the midst of weighty responsibilities one just needs to have a moment to
clear the mechanism, steal away from the noise of life, and just laugh.
You know, a desk vacation. This is one of those moments, one of those
gifts that if opened and accepted will keep on giving even when you return to
the aforesaid concerns. So…take a moment or two…or three, breathe deep and
exhale slowly, then shake your head from side-to-side to get the blood flowing;
go ahead, do it quickly when no one is watching. Then enjoy a laugh.
Prayerfully you might even enjoy it again later. I know I just enjoyed the
thought of sending this to you, and in my mind’s eye thinking of you
