Dear Conservatives,
I
need your help. I formed Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty five
years ago to help men and women in our armed forces live out their
faith. From the current administration repealing “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”
to the Supreme Court redefining marriage to the recent decision to open
military service to “transgender persons,” our government has become
increasingly hostile to those who hold Biblical views concerning
sexuality. This religious bigotry, which targets the brave men and women
who protect the very freedoms that are now under attack, demands
strong, decisive and bold action.
Military
chaplains are at the forefront of these attacks against soldiers,
sailors, airmen and marines who desire to serve and remain faithful to
their Christian convictions.
That’s
why I’m writing to you today. I need to get the word out to as many
freedom-loving Christians as possible. So, I want to ask you a favor.
Would you please consider sending this email and the attached petition to your contact list on behalf of Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty?
I know it’s a lot to ask. But as friends and partners in ministry, I hope you’ll understand. Please click here to read the petition.
When
the Chaplain Alliance for Religious Liberty reaches our
50,000-signature goal, your petition will be hand-delivered to the
offices of key leaders on Capitol Hill, including Secretary of Defense
Ashton Carter, Sen. John McCain, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services
Committee, and Rep. Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Armed Services
Committee. Click here to read and sign the petition.
