Dear Friends, The Department of Labor released its job numbers for the month of May, which showed only 38,000 jobs were created last month – the lowest level in six years. This report is unacceptable and we must do better so that every American who wants a job has an opportunity. A good place to start is reforming our nation’s tax code, scaling back burdensome regulations that are hurting job creators, and replacing Obamacare with a patient-centered approach focused on quality that doesn’t define full-time work as 30 hours a week. I believe there is a better way. That’s why my team and I are hosting seminars every Tuesday this summer to help small business owners learn more about how they can grow their businesses, which can help create more jobs. We’re also presenting our second Career Advancement Workshop to connect Nevadans to available jobs and better careers.
