No...the 'same thing' did NOT happen
to you. If it had, you would have watched as they downloaded Windows 10
against your will. Your system is simply still trying to get you to
comply. Do not try to delete the icon! You can call the customer
service number at Microsoft I provided 800-642-7676. They will remove all Windows
10 programs, apps and that box/ICON at the bottom bar of your computer.
They told me you cannot remove the programs and links AND ICON yourself
because it could cause problems with other programs and apps and your
system. If you leave any of these pieces on your system it will continue
to update and add them all back and you will still be open to having your system
taken over. I watched while they went to several areas of my computer and
removed everything. This stops the continued attempts to coerce you into
taking the 'free' Windows 10 upgrade. If this is not done, they will
continue to try to force this on you. What is very important to know is
that over the next two months, they will continue to take over computers without
the owner's knowledge or permission, as they did to me, and simply load the new
operating system. Then you have to go through the process of having it
removed and your old system restored. If you still have any of these
Windows 10 programs..including the box/short cut at the bottom of your screen,
you are subject to this abuse. If you don't call and have it removed
properly...now that you know...you cannot cry/whine or complain when it happens.
I'm serious about this. I spent half a day on this crap and from the time
it started downloading Windows 10, I could not use my computer. I tried
turning it off several times and it would just turn itself back on because
'they' had complete control of my computer. The box you are seeing on your
screen is NOT the same thing....it is still trying to coerce or trick you.
AGAIN...WHEN THEY TAKE OVER, YOU CANNOT STOP IT. IT IS LITERALLY
DOWNLOADING AND REPLACING. MICROSOFT TECHS AND SUPERVISOR ADMITTED WHAT
THEY ARE DOING!
Even if you think you can choose
select updates and avoid this crap, you cannot. If you update anything,
while these Windows 10 upgrade items are on your computer, you risk having the
download occur.
As usual, I'm ringing the bell with
good information and a way to avoid more issues. What you do with the
info, is up to you. My past experience for over 10 years of these
government/court and other violations and fraud is that most people simply
ignore or avoid spending the time or effort to protect themselves...and wind up
suffering.
I fully intend to inform my
legislators of this abuse...just so they can't say they did not
know.
