MUTH’S TRUTHS
One of the cool things about modern-day technology is that I
can write and transmit today’s e-newsletter from inside a Southwest Airlines
plane at 37,000 feet in the air on the way to Washington, DC. Can never thank Al Gore enough for inventing this internet thingy!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch…
Nebraska Sen. Ben
Sasse is still smarting from the political beat-down he received at the
hands of Donald Trump during the
primary season and continues to be a #nevertrumper pushing for a third-party
candidate to enter the race.
In return, the Nebraska Republican Party voted 400-8 to
rebuke Sasse at its convention this weekend.
FOUR HUNDRED to eight.
In response, Sasse said he really didn’t care about “a
resolution at one convention meeting.”
Talk about tone deaf!
I’m scheduled to be at a small, private dinner with Sen.
Sasse tomorrow night. Ought to be
interesting.
Cheers.

BEAUTY’S IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER, REGARDLESS OF RACE
The usual crowd of race-hustlers and Black Lives Matter
agitators are throwing a new hissy fit over this cartoon, calling it “racist”…
I don’t see it. During
the campaign people have depicted Rosie O’Donnell and Ted Cruz’ wife in a
similarly unflattering manner and that wasn’t considered racist.
I guess for some people it's impossible to find a black woman to be
unattractive for any reason other than her color.
