The establishment is afraid of Joe Heck, launching a $1.5 million national digital campaign last week, targeting his campaign for U.S. Senate. U.S. Congressman Heck is seeking election in Nevada against former state Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto to fill Harry Reid's open Senate seat. They are afraid of the work is he doing to stop amnesty, defend the Second Amendment, and cut spending. We cannot allow these false advertisement campaigns to tarnish the good work he has done! Congressman Heck understands the dire need for secure borders in this country. Americans are losing jobs as illegal immigrants come to this country and take our jobs. Why are there not more men like Heck in Congress? Why is the federal government allowing illegal immigrants and drugs into our county? Why are we just standing idly by? America needs men like Heck.
In an interview with CBS News:
"This is part of the broken immigration system that we have. We have processes that try to vet individuals coming to the United States and they're not always thorough. In fact legislation that I previously introduced to try to increase international travel and tourism while increasing safety, provided a lot of the safety components to the recently passed visa waiver reform package.
There are bills that have passed Committee that could be brought to the floor next week, but the House Republican leadership may punt the issue for political reasons. That's very disappointing. The American people, and my constituents, expect us to tackle these important issues, come together, and get something done for the good of the country. It's just a shame that won't happen this year."
Heck is a former E.R. surgeon and served in Iraq. Heck has spent more than two decades as an Army reservist, including three active-duty tours and a deployment in Iraq.
