HOW TO TURN A SYMPATHETIC VICTIM INTO A DESPISED OGRE
Renee Wetzel lost
her husband and her young children’s father in the December terrorist attack in
San Bernardino, California. A truly
painful and sad loss.
But now we learn that Mrs. Wetzel has “lawyered up” and is
suing San Bernardino County to the tune of $58 MILLION for her loss.
Make no mistake, “San Bernardino” isn’t going to pay that
money, a lesser settlement, or even the legal fees to defend against the suit.
San
Bernardino TAXPAYERS will be coughing up the dough.
This was truly a tragedy.
But the people responsible were the terrorists, not Mrs. Wetzel’s
neighbors. Trying to extort money from
citizens for a tragedy none of them had anything whatsoever to do with is an
outrage. It’s pouring salt in an open
wound.
No wonder people hate lawyers.
