AX THE TAX NOW!  SIGN THE PETITION… Ax the Tax PAC’s original effort to place a referendum on the ballot next November to repeal the entire $1.4 billion Sandoval tax hike is still tied up in federal court over dual interpretations of the “single subject” rule. However, this week the RIP Commerce Tax PAC’s referendum to repeal ONLY the new “commerce tax” was approved by the district court in Carson City!  So while we’re waiting on a decision over our own repeal referendum of the whole enchilada, we’re gonna pitch in and help RIP PAC with theirs. The instructions for downloading, signing, circulating and submitting RIP PAC’s petition to place the commerce tax on the ballot next year are the same for circulating our Ax the Tax petition if/when we get court clearance to move forward. So please print it out, sign it, circulate it and return it as per the Instructions outlined on our Ax the Tax website.  We will forward all of your competed petitions to our friends at RIP PAC.
