Dear Taxpayer,
The
Internet is a politician's playground for new taxes. Lawmakers are
always looking for ways to tax people who can't vote against them. Enter
the Remote Transactions Parity Act, introduced by Rep. Jason Chaffetz.
It's
a new Internet sales tax scheme that takes advantage of the taxpayer.
There should be more bills that protect taxpayers, not prey on them.
New
York and California already shakedown residents of other states for
income tax, even if they only worked in the state for just a few days.
New Jersey even held an 18-wheeler hostage for taxes because it drove
through the state – no deliveries, just passing through.
If you
plan on selling anything online through eBay, Amazon, or another
platform, this legislation would force you to deal with 45 different
state sales taxes and over 10,000 local tax jurisdictions - that’s like
dealing with another 10,000 IRSs! Any state can make a claim against you
and drag you into their courts.
Tell your Representative and Senators that you want nothing to do with this tax power grab! CLICK HERE
