HANK ...There is hope that if elected, Trump will be
very reluctant to let these "touchback" folks back in. I am hoping his
pragmatism will prevail. As for Trump being an elitist, well I sort of agree and
sort of don't. For me the word elitist referring to powerful men at the top of
the food chain in politics and business refers to those supranational elites who
are diametrically opposed to the will of the
people.
So far at least, Trump has jumped the elitist rails and is
opposing the agenda of the rest of the elites. There has never been anyone like
him in American politics so I don't think anyone can say what he is up to or
will do once the rubber hits the road.
There is one very successful national leader who has similarly
thwarted the mainstream of his elites, and that is Vladimir
Putin.
Only a handful of people outside Putin's circle can understand
him. Likewise with Trump.
