Conservatives,
President Obama and I met in 2010 soon after being elected Governor of Wisconsin. We enjoyed a friendly chat about football. He is an avid Bears fan and I am a diehard Packers fan so we quickly found an issue on which we both agreed: wanting to defeat the Vikings. Now that we are on the national stage and our proven conservative agenda is being held up in stark contrast to his failed liberal one, he is no longer quite so friendly to me. In fact, he is singling me out for attacks. Not attacks by proxy, either. The President of the United States is actively and personally attacking a Governor. We are not running against each other and yet he continues to slam me with attack after attack. Either he is still bitter about the Packers defeating the Bears for the NFC Championship in 2011 or what we are doing in Wisconsin is working ... and could work for America. You and I both know it's the latter and we have to keep it up. Please support our shared conservative vision with a contribution of $10, $35, $50, $100, or even $250 to Friends of Scott Walker today. Pastor Lee S, our bold conservative reforms have turned Wisconsin around and our conservative vision for our country has drawn the ire of President Obama. Whether he is attacking me for putting power back in workers' hands with our historic Freedom to Work legislation or calling me names for daring to suggest he is not being tough enough with Iran, President Obama is clearly threatened by our conservative successes and ideas. And the attacks will only get worse, which is why we need your help to fight back:
When I took office, the failed liberal agenda of my predecessor was evident: Wisconsin was drowning thanks to billion-dollar deficits, double-digit tax increases, and record job losses. With an unwavering commitment to the conservative principles of limited government and fiscal discipline, we moved Wisconsin forward -- balancing our budgets without raising taxes or massive layoffs while creating tens of thousands of new jobs for the people of Wisconsin. If you agree it's time to move forward after years of President Obama's failed liberal agenda, please stand strong with me today. Thank you, Governor Scott Walker P.S. Our conservative agenda worked in Wisconsin and our conservative vision can work for America. Your contribution of $10 or $100 or $1,000 or whatever amount works for you will help us fight off President Obama's attacks and keep pushing ahead with the conservative solutions Wisconsin -- and America -- needs. |
