Dear Friend:  This week, the Senate will vote on approving the Keystone XL pipeline permit. The pipeline is vital to our prosperity and a key component to helping make U.S. energy abundant, affordable and secure. Help us make Keystone XL a reality: Sign our petition today! You've read the stories about this critical piece of energy infrastructure but we wanted to show you the numbers and why it's time to build. Bipartisan Support 10 House Votes in Support of the Keystone Pipeline 2 Senate Votes in Support of the Keystone Pipeline 57% of Americans support building the pipeline. Only 27% disapprove (CNN Poll) 65% of Americans support President Obama signing legislation to approve the pipeline (Fox News poll) The Lost Opportunities 830,000 barrels of North American crude oil per day delivered to U.S. refineries 42,100 well-paying direct, indirect, and induced jobs during pipeline construction $5.2 billion in state and local property tax revenue over KXL's operating lifespan The Administrative Gridlock 5 Environmental Impact studies totaling 22,000 pages 2,320+ days of review - and counting There are ZERO excuses left to delay construction.
