Shameful GOP Double-Talk On Amnesty Continues Congressman Paul Ryan recently told National Review Online that Republicans have "given up on passing" Amnesty "because the border crisis has poisoned the political atmosphere for such an effort." But wait just a minute. In other news, Politico is reporting that "senior House Republicans are privately discussing a bill that would provide roughly half of the $3.7 billion that President Barack Obama has requested" to support the ongoing migrant invasion. Are you confused? We're not. Giving Barack Obama $1.5 to $2 billion to support an illegal alien invasion is not taking a stand against Amnesty and it's not what the American people want.
