Friends,
Ever struggle to articulate why natural marriage is good public policy? Ever desire more resources to share with your friends to help you explain your beliefs?
If so, please take 11 minutes to watch Ryan T. Anderson's excellent defense of natural marriage as the best marriage public policy. One Catholic Diocese called this the "Best Argument for Marriage [We've] Ever Heard." We'd be hard pressed to disagree.
As we've mentioned before, Anderson, the William E. Simon Fellow in Religion and a Free Society at The Heritage Foundation, is one of the finest national voices defending marriage. The video below is his testimony before the Indiana State Legislature last month. We know that our opposition is quite motivated to use whatever means necessary - name-calling, media pressure, activist judges, frivolous law suits, etc to advance their agenda. This is why, as Anderson says, "We need to explain well what marriage is, why it matters, and the consequences of redefining it."
Please watch this video below and share it with friends and family. Anderson's full length essay on this topic is also an excellent read as are any of his briefs and articles (you can find an archive on the Heritage Foundation's website).
