Demanding Answers on ObamaCare |
WASHINGTON, DC – House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) issued the following statement praising House passage of the Exchange Information Disclosure Act
(H.R. 3362), legislation by Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE) requiring the
administration to provide accurate, comprehensive, and timely
information about the ObamaCare website and enrollment in the exchanges.
“We
know the president’s health care law is driving up costs for
middle-class families, making it harder for small businesses to hire,
and hurting the economy – but there’s still a lot we don’t know. The
administration hasn’t provided a clear picture of where enrollment
stands, what challenges remain with the function and security of its
website, and how much addressing those issues will cost taxpayers. The
bill passed by the House today requires more transparency from the
administration, and continues House Republicans’ ongoing oversight of
this disastrous law. I urge the Democratic-led Senate to join us in
passing this bipartisan bill and ensuring the American people get the
answers to which they are entitled.”
