Only One Thing Creates “A job” – A Profit
Governor Rick Scott is
flying across the state of Florida with the mission of creating jobs.
Daily I receive press releases from the Governor’s office touting one
business or another expanding and adding jobs. The implication is that
government and the Governor had a hand in creating those jobs. The only
problem is government cannot create a single job without taking money
from the private sector.Any effort by government to create a job via subsidies is a form of wealth redistribution. Government takes money from those who are profitable and gives to those who are not. The only thing that creates a job is a profit! ...
Media Matters is drinking its own Kool-aid
Ben Shapiro from TruthRevolt.org writes, “On Friday,
George Soros-funded hit group Media Matters for America declared victory
over its arch-nemesis Fox News. In a puff piece by Amanda Terkel for
the Huffington Post, Media Matters leaked that “in the coming years, Fox
will no longer be the center of Media Matters’ universe.” What changed?
Nothing, really, considering that Fox News still effectively dominates
the ratings, with better numbers than MSNBC and CNN combined. But Media
Matters reports that it has “effectively discredited the network’s
desire to be seen as ‘fair and balanced.’”Really? I agree with Shapiro who calls Media Matters “delusional.” ...
Fast & Furious Florida Style: ATF Implicated in Pensacola Rogue Operation
Over the last several years, the federal Bureau of
Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) has been plagued by
mismanagement, scandal and rogue operations, the most infamous of which
has been the ill-fated and deadly “Fast and Furious” debacle. Despite
these ongoing problems and the criticism and calls for reform they have
generated, BATFE has continued its practice of questionable tactics and
judgment.
In fact, over the course of the last week, numerous
media outlets have reported on yet another dubious BATFE operation–this
one lowering the bar to a new, disturbing level ...

Danger: Your coffee maker may be spying on you!
In August Adam Levin from ABC News reported, “For
Americans concerned about their privacy, the NSA data grabs are
daunting, but what about the data grabs happening inside your own home,
perpetrated not by the government, but by your coffee machine?”Levin notes, “Consider every appliance and every piece of home electronics that you own. Does it gather data about how you use it? Does it connect to the Internet? If so, it could be used to spy on you. Your mobile devices, your TV, and now various other types of home appliances can be wired into a network that can track you. If those networks are hacked, information about your habits and behaviors could be available to people with nefarious goals. The same technological innovation that empowers us also makes us vulnerable to those who would exploit such advances against us.” ... READ MORE . . .
The Project: How the Republican Party is Abandoning Ronald Reagan
The Republican party has decided it can’t win national
elections. Finally, they get it but … do they? There is a “new” strategy
out called the “Growth and Opportunity Project“.The Project states:
At our core, Republicans have comfortably remained the
Party of Reagan without figuring out what comes next. Ronald Reagan is a
Republican hero and role model who was first elected 33 years ago—
meaning no one under the age of 51 today was old enough to vote for
Reagan when he first ran for President. Our Party knows how to appeal to
older voters, but we have lost our way with younger ones. We sound
increasingly out of touch …
