Obama's Rhetorical Skill Now His Biggest Liability
There's
a deep, lusty irony to Barack Obama being undone by his own inability
to keep quiet. After all, the President owes his ascension to the White
House almost entirely to an oratorical ability that was regarded as
near-magical back in 2008. Today, "near-fatal" might be a better
characterization.

Mr. Obama's Utter Destructiveness
Oliver
Cromwell was a nasty piece of work, but one of his most famous lines
should be resurrected and aimed at Barack Obama. "Depart, I say; and let
us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"

Obama Admin Caves to Union Pressure, Proposes Tax Exemption

demanding payback for supporting Democratic candidates and the passage
of ObamaCare, an influential group of labor unions is getting a special

JESTER'S COURTROOM
Take Me Out to the...Courtroom
A Kansas City Royals fan who
was injured when an aluminum wrapped hot dog was thrown by the Royals
team mascot Slugerrr has sued the team.
The Missouri Supreme Court is reviewing a lawsuit filed by John
Coomer, of Overland Park, Kansas. Coomer, who was hit in the eye with
the hot dog and suffered a detached retina, underwent two surgeries to
repair the damage, at the cost of $4,800 in medical expenses. Coomer is
suing for more than $20,000.
The court will have to decide
whether Coomer's lawsuit falls under the "baseball rule," which protects
organizations from being sued for fan injuries at games.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
Michael Tanner, Cato Institute Senior Fellow, On the President's ObamaCare Lies: "Somehow the president continues to insist that he really was telling the truth when he promised that you could keep your plan - dozens of times - and is just as shocked as anyone else to find out that you can't. This, despite the fact that his aides debated, both publicly and privately, about whether or not he should say something so demonstrably untrue. When you start lying about your lies, there really is a problem." |
