What's
dreadful is that the Supreme Court -- "Congress shall make no law
respecting an establishment of religion. . . ." -- goes and establishes a
religion in America. What does the false religion of
Secularism look like? It affirms that -- with the present state of
scientific knowledge -- dogmatic belief in an absolutist moral/ethical
system (i.e., Christianity) is odd or abnormal.
George Holyoake (D.1906) -- who invented the term 'secularism', an agnostic himself -- argued,
"Secularism is not an argument against Christianity, it is one
independent of it. It does not question the pretensions of Christianity;
it advances others. Secularism does not say there is no light or
guidance elsewhere, but maintains that there is light and guidance in
secular truth, whose conditions and sanctions exist independently, and
act forever."
Two opposing worldviews are on a collision course, someones values are going to reign supreme. "God will never have it forgotten that the cross is the basis of all blessing". Jesus -- not American Exceptionalism -- made an exceptional America.
What's becoming increasingly clear, Americans are not an exceptional
people, but like all men, perverse in nature as sinful man. The
inevitability of the coming clash between the standard of man and the
Standard of God is near, who will win this battle is not in doubt.
Unless the direction America has taken in the last 2-3 generations
changes, collapse is inevitable, because virtue is a key component of freedom.
David A. Hubbard puts it this way: "Pagan wisdom, though it, too, may be religious, has no anchor in the covenant-God."
Fast forward 50 years
and the whole of American society is permeated by this false religion --
the structure and worldview of the false god of secularism is housed,
taught and worshiped daily in public schools and universities. The
structure of American society -- the foundation laid by Christians -- is
being taken down brick by brick.
The Supreme Court's most recent offense -- finding a protected right
for homosexual marriage in the Constitution -- is the perfect
demonstration of an educated, pagan, secular-elite, serving as
Evangelists to this false god and working much mischief to our national
interest.
Dr. Bruce K. Waltke spells it out, "Fool
refers to people with morally deficient characters that prompt their
irrational behavior. They are blockheads because, deaf to wisdom, from
their distorted moral vision, of which they are cocksure, they delight
in twisting values that benefit the community." And brought to its logical conclusion Dr. Waltke continues, "Google
speaks of "Do No Evil" and then promotes it by targeting anti-gay
countries. Immanuel Kant said you can tell whether or not something is
right or wrong by whether it can be practiced universally. Same-sex
marriage practiced universally is suicide. To survive gays and lesbians
are parasites, depending for their cultural survival on couples that
birth the next generation."
Nations must constantly tend to their spiritual culture and mission.
William Bradford, the chief architect of the Mayflower Compact, wrote on
America's Founders mission, "They
[colonists] cherished a great hope and inward zeal of laying good
foundations . . . for the propagation and advance of the Gospel of the
kingdom of Christ in the remote parts of the world."
Freedom loving Americans for generations have been willing to
disadvantage themselves to advantage the community; conversely the
wicked are willing to disadvantage the community to advantage
themselves. What homosexuals do in their bedroom is none of my business,
but politically someone's values are going to reign supreme.
It's
becoming increasingly clear what lies ahead, if the Supreme Court can
find that homosexual marriage is a protected right, though it is not
found in the Constitution, then it will have the flexibility to rule
that those who oppose -- "To
Justice Kennedy and the other four justices, and I say this strongly
as an attorney who is also an officer of the court, how dare you say
that those who believe in marriage are bigots and haters of humanity."
Dean of Liberty University Law School Mat Staver -- are guilty of a
"hate crime" and will need to spend time in confinement.
