GET THE RINOS OUT BEFORE THEY TOTALLY RUIN AMERICA - ALL ARE TRAITORS!
Dear Conservatives,
I have good news and bad news.
The good news is, Congress is on vacation until after Labor Day. That means no Big Labor power grabs can be rammed through Congress over the next month.
The bad news is, the deal Harry Reid cut with John McCain and Lamar Alexander last month to give Barack Obama a fully-stocked National Labor Relations Board just got even worse.
As you know, as part of that deal, Barack Obama agreed to drop the nominations of Sharon Block and Richard Griffin -- the two Board Members who continued issuing decisions even after multiple federal courts ruled their "recess" appointments were unconstitutional.
But they won't be out of work long.
The Obama Administration has announced Sharon Block will become a top aide to radical Labor Secretary Tom Perez. Her position isn't up for review by the Senate.
And as has been rumored for weeks, Barack Obama has nominated Richard Griffin to be the next General Counsel of the NLRB.
That's right, Richard Griffin is staying at the very agency where he defied the rule of the law, and his new position is arguably even more powerful that the one he illegally held.
You see, the Supreme Court has held that the NLRB General Counsel has "unreviewable discretion" on which cases to allow the full NLRB to even consider -- and which ones to suffocate.
That position requires confirmation by the Senate, but in the meantime Barack Obama still has Lafe Solomon as Acting General Counsel.
It was Acting General Counsel Solomon who tried to shut down a Boeing plant and destroy thousands of jobs in Right to Work South Carolina.
Whatever damage the loaded and biased Obama Labor Board inflicts on worker freedom and the economy, it will be the General Counsel who sets the stage.
And make no mistake, if confirmed, Richard Griffin will set the stage to do Big Labor's bidding.
Ambush election rules that open up workers to intimidation by union organizers. Gutting the Supreme Court precedent that allows workers to opt out of subsidizing union-boss politics. New unfair labor practices made out of whole cloth.
I'm afraid the worst out of the Obama Labor Board may be yet to come. I hope you'll remember who cut the backroom deal in the Senate the made such power grabs possible.
Sincerely,
Mark Mix
