The Rest of America Needs Reprieve from ObamaCare Too |

If the president can acknowledge that businesses need an exemption from his health care law’s mandates, when will he admit the rest of America needs the same reprieve?
While the administration is delaying the employer mandate until after midterm elections,
“the individual mandate, which hits average Americans and happens to
be supported by insurance industry lobbyists, is still on track to be
implemented in 2014,” says the Washington Examiner.
We already know ObamaCare is forcing employers to cut wages and hours, and making it harder to hire. But for many average Americans, ObamaCare’s mandates also mean:
Plus, after three years, the Obama administration clearly still isn’t ready to manage its law. The Washington Post
reported that “[t]he federal government has faced multiple delays.” The
administration won’t even “attempt to verify individual eligibility
for insurance subsidies” next year, says the Wall Street Journal, “and instead will rely on self-reporting” (the honor system).
As Speaker Boehner
said, “the president admits that his health care law is a drag on
businesses” – it’s time to admit the rest of America needs the same
protection from its onerous mandates.
