Don’t miss tomorrow night’s “First Friday Happy Hour” candidate debate between Clark County Republican Party Chairman Cindy Lake and her challenger Dave McKeon at Bahama Breeze beginning around 6 pm.
WARNING: Uli Miyashiro sent out an email yesterday urging people to “plan on arriving early to get seats. It might not be a stretch to suggest getting there at 4:00 pm.”
This is NOT accurate. The room will NOT be open to the general public until the regular 5:00 pm starting time.

NEW CALLS NEEDED TO KILL GUN-CONTROL BILL
We just received this important email from our friend Don Turner of the Nevada Firearms Coalition:
“At this very moment Bloomberg is spending millions trying to shame Governor Sandoval into signing SB221 into law. They are protesting in front of his offices, and collecting signatures trying to force him to sign this anti-gun legislation into law.
“OUR TIME IS RUNNING SHORT. WE MUST DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO STOP THIS BILL!! VOTE NOW AGAINST SB221 by calling this number: (775) 684-5670. When prompted, press 2 to vote against SB 221.
“Governor Sandoval will get the results directly. I can't stress how important it is to stop Bloomberg from buying Nevada's gun freedoms. We must defeat this progressive tyranny.”
I’m guessing the governor is having second thoughts about vetoing this bill if he set up this “Press 1, 2, 3” call system. It appears he may be looking for a reason to sign the bill after all. You might want to pick up the phone and weigh in yet again NOW!
For some reason, I just don’t trust this governor.
