Comment of Donald Hank: The European self-annointed elites have long confiscated the people's weapons. Guns. But also a more powerful one: their traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs and values. Without their heirloom belief in God and the teachings of Jesus, there is no way they can defend themselves against fanatical Islam. For one thing, when the Muslims say their lifestyle is immoral, Europeans sense that they are right. They don't like to admit it and most never will, but they know something is wrong and it is not just the economy or the EU bosses and their insane supranational zeal. It is a lot of things like adultery, drugs, drunkennes, promiscuity, abortion, greed, pederasty, divorce, fatherlessness, all kind of sexual perversions that leave people feeling empty inside. Things that were once forbidden in orthodox teachings have become commmonplace. Those few who refuse to indulge are marginalized. This is in large part the fruits not of the rational mind but of activist Fabian Socialism and also of the Frankfurt School, both of them kindred spirits as it were. Their crown jewel was not the implementation of socialism but the utter destruction of Judeo-Christian values and beliefs.
ReplyDeleteFor another, you see everything falling apart both socially and economically, no matter how much these elites try to prevent the collapse. You sense it is coming. Many desperately want to get out of the EU but are blocked at every turn. You can't find a rational explanation for it. Yet, Paul laid it out in the plainest possible language:
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
You say that is just fiction, the product of a man's imagination. You say we need a rational explanation free of 'spiritual' reasonings that sound too much like voodoo.
The elites have trained you to think that way.
