It is with a heavy heart that I write to you today.
Yesterday, Oklahoma was devastated by a powerful, two-mile wide tornado, which destroyed the entire town of Moore. Among the victims were elementary school students who were in class when the tornado directly hit their school.
Days like today are when I'm most proud of this nation...when our fellow citizens put politics, prejudices, and selfishness aside to come to the aide of those in need.

If you are able, I encourage you to also give blood, volunteer, or take a CPR or first aid course. While it may not directly help the Oklahoma survivors today, it's always wise to be prepared.
