Obama's Fake Statistics
Make Border Appear Safer Than It Really Is

Fellow Patriots,
The video we are providing you in this email showcases something very disturbing. Some would even call it criminal.
Based on the evidence presented in this video, we have reason to believe that the Obama Administration is working in concert with liberal, pro-illegal immigration, elected officials at the local and county levels to manipulate law enforcement statistics in order to make the American people believe the southern U.S. border is safer than it really is.
Let me say that again...
We believe clear evidence exists, uncovered by unbiased sources, that the Obama Administration, working with officials in local government in our southern border states, has been intentionally misleading the American people about how dangerous the U.S.-Mexico border really is.
The president and his administration have many motives to undertake this heinous action:
1. The safer the U.S. border appears, the less time and energy Obama needs to spend focusing on "Republican issues" like border security.
2. The fewer crimes Americans think are occurring on the border, the less attention the media will pay to immigration and border security issues.
3. The less time that is spent talking about how dangerous the border is, the more time Obama can devote to quietly, subversively enacting amnesty for illegal aliens – a campaign promise he made early in his presidential career, and which he feels he must deliver on if he is to have any chance of be ing re-elected.
None of these motives, however, justify hiding real crime statistics from the American people. These motives are purely political and cannot be justified in any legal way. 
We call upon Congress to investigate and appoint a special prosecut or to root out those at every level who have acted with malice and greed to put American lives at risk. 
As you are no doubt aware, each year, the federal government bestows more than $1 BILLION in grants to state and local government agencies in th e form of COPS grants (Community Oriented Policing Services).
 We have learned through media reports that Hidalgo County, TX has benefited from more than $6 MILLION in COPS grants in the last eight years. Since then, we've been led to believe that crime rates have fallen dramatically in this border county of just less than 1 million residents. In fact, if you believe reported statistics, illegal immigration and the industry of crime that follows it are almost not even an issue anymore.
Just last year, Barack Obama himself went to El Paso, where he delivered his infamous "alligators and moats" speech:
PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA: "Maybe they'll say we need a moat. Or alligators in the moat. They'll never be satisfied. And I understand that. That's politics. But the truth is, the measures we've put in place are getting results. Over the past two and a half years, we've seized 31 percent more drugs, 75 percent more currency, and 64 percent more weapons than before. Even as we've stepped up patrols, apprehensions along the border have been cut by nearly 40 percent from two years ago – that means far fewer people are attempting to cross the border illegally. Also, despite a lot of breathless reports that have tagged places like El Paso as dangerous, violent crime in southwest border counties has dropped by a third. El Paso and other cities and towns along the border are consistently rated among the safest in the nation."
