You think Obamacare was bad? Well, left wing Sen. Sherrod Brown from Ohio is determined to make it even worse!
There's a reason he was named "Most Liberal" in the Senate by National Journal. During the Obamacare debate, he was asked whether he would push to pass the so-called public option – the slippery slope toward socialized medicine – if it didn't make it in to Obamacare.
His response? “Absolutely, absolutely, oh yeah.”
Think about it: despite the fact that Obamacare had big Medicare cuts, big tax hikes, big mandates on employers, and the unprecedented “individual mandate”, Sherrod Brown said he wished the bill would have gone even farther.
