Can we cut with the tax cuts for private jets bullcrap?
We heard it again yesterday in Obama’s “twitterfest news event”, and it’s getting both old and ismanifestly dishonest.
The same holds true for the so-called “racehorse exemption.”
Both claims come from the fact that business expenses are deductible.  So if you’re running a company and have a private jet, and the jet is used in some manner that furthers the business interest, you can deduct the cost of owning and operating it from gross revenues.  The same with the racehorse – if you raise horses to race with the intent of making money by doing so - that is, as a business – you can deduct the cost of raising the horses from your gross revenues (winnings.)
Are there reasonable debates to be had on where the line is between “business” and “pleasure”?  Sure.  The business jet issue is one that resonates well with middle-class America and its propensity for class warfare: “Those evil fat cats are flying around and not paying a damn dime in taxes on that ridiculously expensive jet!”

Nevada's jurists are well compensated in comparison to their counterparts in other states, according to a 2011 report by the National Center for State Courts (NCSC).

Judges for the state Supreme Court are paid $170,000 annually, which puts Nevada well above the average and 10^th on the list of best-paying states.

The median salary for state Supreme Court justices across the United States is $146,917.

California pays its high court judges the most of any state, with annual salaries of $218,237. But the pay scale varies widely for jurists in Nevada's other neighboring states.

I recently re-read "The Communist Manifesto" written by Karl Marx in 1848.

What I read was a bit shocking. Marx had "10 planks" that this evil manifesto was based upon and he advocated the use of any means to accomplish these socialist goals including violent revolutions. The planks are listed bellow, followed by my comment on how it applies to America today:

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the weekend publicly announced the Obama Administration's desire to reestablish ties with Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.

The Brotherhood responded this week by thanking Clinton, and issuing its first demand of its new American friends: drop support for the "Zionist regime."

In an email response quoted by Bloomberg, Muslim Brotherhood spokesman Mahmoud Ghozlan stated that if America wants solid relations with the group, it should "stop supporting the corrupt and tyrannical regimes, backing the Zionist occupation and using double standards."

The documents obtained concern the response byHouston, Texas immigration officials to a June 2010memo from John Morton, Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services instructing local immigration officials to use discretion in “prioritizing” illegal immigration deportation cases. This memo resulted in the dismissal of hundreds of immigration cases and a 40% increase in deportation dismissals in Houston alone.
