OBAMA OFFICIALS MISLED CONGRESS ABOUT DEPORTATION DISMISSALS
According to documents obtained by Judicial Watch, local immigration officials were given a wide latitude to dismiss illegal immigration deportation cases – including those involving violent crimes – despite contrary claims made by the Obama administration.
The documents obtained concern the response byHouston, Texas immigration officials to a June 2010memo from John Morton, Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services instructing local immigration officials to use discretion in “prioritizing” illegal immigration deportation cases. This memo resulted in the dismissal of hundreds of immigration cases and a 40% increase in deportation dismissals in Houston alone.
As part of its request Judicial Watch also obtained a spreadsheet listing specific violent crimes that ICE attorneys were prepared to overlook, including: sexual assault, solicitation of murder, aggravated assault, assault and kidnapping, and various drug charges.
OBAMA’S AMNESTY MEMO ALL ABOUT RE-ELECTION
The Obama Administration has effectively granted Amnesty to millions of illegal immigrants through a memo released to immigration officials last month requiring “prosecutorial discretion” in determining which illegal immigrants were eligible for deportation.
At first we even were lead to believe only college kids and those with relatives in the U.S. Military would be exempted from deportation. Way back in 2010 we were told that delayed deportations were only for illegal immigrants with pending green card applications. Now, we know what the list entails.
Judgment calls for deportation are made based on the following criteria which will protect individuals from rightful deportation:
- Did the alien graduate from high school — what is the alien’s education status?
- Was the alien brought here as a child?
- Does the alien have a relative in the U. S. military — National Guard or reserves included?
- Is the alien a security risk?
- Is the alien pregnant or breast-feeding?
- Does the alien care for disabled, infirmed, or mentally challenged relatives?
- Does the alien work?
- Does the alien serve the community?
Originally, the excuses offered up for the backdoor Amnesty memo were that it was too expensive to deport anyone but violent criminals, and the other was that it was not “fair” to deport illegal immigrants who may be eligible for Amnesty under the DREAM Act should it ever pass. But really, folks, it’s just about Obama’s re-election.
