Fellow Patriots,

I want to share with you a very exciting update on my
personal journey in the Patriot movement, as well as
where I see the movement heading right now.

As you may know, my journey in the movement began in
2008 with a nationwide fight against regulations on
drilling in America. Then in February 2009, the spark
that lit the modern-day patriot political revolt was
ignited when MSNBC's Rick Santelli called for a "Chicago
Tea Party."


I was living in Chicago at that time, and like thousands
of Patriots across the country, I knew I had to respond.
In what became one of the greatest privileges in my life,
I found myself thrust into the midst of a great,
spontaneous response to runaway government expansion
we now call the Tea Party movement.

Here we are almost two and a half years later and that
fledgling "Tea Party" movement has enjoyed many big
successes. In 2010, thanks to you, we played a very
significant role in the shift of power in Washington.
Today, it's difficult for a major political story to be
discussed without some reference to the Tea Party.

+ + The greatest political battle of our lives

Now, as individuals and as a movement, we are preparing
to confront what will be the greatest political battle of
our lives...  the 2012 Presidential Election.

Over the years many of you have called for an "alliance"
of sorts to form within the movement. While it's certainly
true that our movement has no official entity or "leadership"
group, it's also now clear we need to work harder at
communicating and promoting each other's efforts.

With this in mind, I've decided to partner up with one of
the largest online networks of patriots in existence today.
The Patriot Caucus and Liberty News Network are now
officially a part of the Patriot Action Network and
Grassfire Nation.

Grassfire Nation has more than 1.8 MILLION members nationwide,
92,000 of which are active members of the Patriot Action
Network, the largest social network for movement minded
conservatives. Our alliance with PAN and Grassfire creates
new realms of possibilities in which we can provide much
better, more sophisticated tools and utilities for the movement.

+ + Serving the Patriot movement

Most importantly to me personally, the folks at Grassfire
are not wanting to create a "Grassfire-centric" effort. They
understand that the great need is to serve the Patriot
movement with tools, resources, action items and networking
opportunities.

In the next few months you'll begin to see our message shift
into very specific actions and efforts aimed at creating a
true movement network for 2012 and beyond. The time for
talk has come and gone, now it's time to act like never before.
