I have a message for President Obama: "Shame on you!"

In the past 48 hours, the President has dragged the presidency to new lows in his efforts to win a political debate and keep America on the path to bankruptcy.

First, Obama stooped to the worst kind of fearmongering by threatening to withhold Social Security checks in two weeks if Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling. ""I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven't resolved this issue," Obama said. Shame on you, President Obama, for playing on the fears and insecurities of our nation's seniors to win a political debate and keep your spend-a-thon going.

Then, during a meeting with GOP leaders at the White House, Obama threatened Rep. Eric Cantor by saying, "Don't call my bluff!" and then made an "abrupt" exit, reported Fox News. Bullying tactics are not what is needed at a time when America is facing monumental decisions about runaway government spending!

Clearly, President Obama is raising the stakes. He now says he will take his case "to the American people." That means we must get ready for a barrage from the "state-controlled media" and the George Soros-funded leftist intelligentsia.

I for one am not going to sit by silently as Obama conducts fear-mongering and bullying to push our nation further to the brink of Greece-style bankruptcy. The consequences for our families could be devastating.

To date, more than 45,000 friends have signed our "Stop Bankrupting Our Families" petition supporting the "Cap, Cut and Balance" plan to restore fiscal sanity to our government.

The next two weeks will prove to be the major showdown -- possibly one of the most pivotal political debates in our lifetimes. I feel I must rally hundreds of thousands more women and like-minded men to stand.
