Breaking: Paul Ryan Privately Admits Border Wall Will Never Happen
Earlier this summer, Paul Ryan released a video ad showing him inspecting the southern border on horseback, by boat, and from the air in a helicopter. The video was titled "The Wall: Let's Get It Done" and in one clip, the phrase "It's time for the wall" flashes across the screen.
Well, the whole thing was a farce. Around the same time, Paul Ryan was at a private dinner and he admitted to those in attendance that the wall would never be built because no one in Congress wants a wall. These details were then leaked to the press by former-Congressman Tom Tancredo (R-CO).
Pretty big discrepancy, isn't it? But the most ludicrous part of the leak is that Paul Ryan genuinely believes that no one supports building the wall.
Either he's lying - which I honestly wouldn't put past him - or these Congressmen and Senators aren't being loud enough.
A recent poll showed that 63% of American voters want both Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell removed from office. It's not personal, the people are simply getting tired of watching these two obstructionists stall and run out the clock on the conservative agenda.
If the wall is going to get built, it needs to be funded this month, before the fiscal year ends. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell have already stalled twice previously. Both promised that wall funding would come this month. Now, they want you to wait until next year for the funding to be approved, which means it wouldn't be built until 2019...
We are drawing our line in the sand. If these two "leaders" won't fulfill their promise and build the wall, they must be removed from power by any means necessary and all who are propping them up must be drained as well!
We are in the midst of a civil war over the conservative movement in this country. It is a battle between the establishment that wants to keep their corporate donors happy and the conservatives who believe in constitutional governance and America First.
Both Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell voted to build a southern border wall in 2006. They also voted to fully fund that wall (but Democrats blocked the funding).
Now, they are publicly promising to help the President fulfill this promise but telling their supporters and donors, in private, that they will never let the project move forward.
The President is doing everything he can. Homeland Security just used its power to cut through all the red tape. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been given to a handful of companies to build functional prototypes of their wall designs. But once that runs out, then the project will grind to a halt.
Both Ryan and McConnell have actually written into the spending bills that the President is not allowed to build a wall. So when they pass "clean spending bills," they are actually renewing a ban on border wall construction that they wrote! So, unless Congress lifts this RINO blockade, the border wall will never be built.
They are speaking out of both sides of their mouths. They are promising the people that the wall will be built but promising their donors it will never happen. This is what Trump means by "drain the swamp."
These people are the swamp. If they won't build the wall, these swamp creatures need to be drained!
Drain. The. Swamp.
